As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Meghan is passionate about assisting individuals, whether on their own or as a part of a family system, in finding health, happiness, and wellness through counseling.

Meghan specializes in treating adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, body image issues, compulsive behaviors and co-occurring anxiety and depression.  She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, trained in the treatment of trauma, PTSD, grief and loss and an active member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals.

Meghan has extensive experience working in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization levels of care providing individual, family, and group therapy.  As the former Clinical Supervisor of the Renfrew Center of New York, a leading eating disorder treatment center, Meghan oversaw clinical operations, supervised therapists, and provided direct counseling to individuals and their loved ones.  Outside of her expertise in eating disorders, additional clinical experiences include: Adelphi University Postgraduate Psychotherapy Center, Babylon Psychological Services, Family Service League, and Alcohol & Drug Dependency Services.

 Meghan believes in blending empirically-based treatments, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness skills, with relationally-based treatments to connect with her clients in a meaningful way.
